The dsmerror.log reports any problems with TSM. To check it:
- In the Finder, look in the folder that contains the TSM log files. (If you don't know where that is, see FAQ-MAC-31: Default TSM File Locations
- Double-click "dsmerror.log".
- Look at the last line in the "dsmerror.log" file.
- If there is an error with a recent timestamp on it, you are having trouble with TSM. E-mail the following files to us at ezbackup@cornell.edu (file locations detailed in FAQ-MAC-31: Default TSM File Locations):
- dsm.sys
- dsm.opt
- dsmsched.log
- dsmerror.log
- dsmwebcli.log
