Question:
How do I delete old volumes from my backups?
Answer:
To delete old volume backups, do the following:
  1. Start up the "TSM Tools for Administrators" software.
  2. Under "Which application...", choose "Tivoli Storage Manager", click "OK".
  3. Under the "Utilities" pull-down menu, select "Delete Filespaces"
  4. Select the filespaces whose backups you wish to delete.
  5. Click on "Delete".
WARNING: Once you have deleted a filespace, all files in that filespace are permanently gone from the EZ-Backup server. You will no longer have a backup copy on the EZ-Backup server.
